Skeletal Muscle Cells

Skeletal Muscle Cells
(SkMC)

Skeletal muscle stem cells can be induced to differentiate into a developmental stage of skeletal muscle. In doing so, these cells form multinucleated structures known as myotubes. The myotubes in the video on the left are spontaneously twitching while the myotubes in the video on the right are being controlled using a stimulator.
